E, ao mesmo tempo, \u00e9 uma pergunta enganadora. Porque parte do princ\u00edpio de que existe uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o direta entre um tipo de fragr\u00e2ncia e o sucesso comercial de um produto.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">A realidade \u00e9 mais complexa.<\/p>\n<h2><b>A ilus\u00e3o da f\u00f3rmula vencedora<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">Existem tend\u00eancias claras no mercado:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- gourmand<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- oud<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- \u00e2mbar moderno<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- notas arom\u00e1ticas frescas<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- frutado brilhante<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Estas fam\u00edlias olfactivas funcionam. Mas n\u00e3o funcionam por si s\u00f3. Se fosse suficiente usar uma \u201cdire\u00e7\u00e3o certa\u201d,<br \/>\ntodos os produtos constru\u00eddos nessa base venderiam igualmente. E n\u00e3o \u00e9 o caso.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Porque o sucesso de uma fragr\u00e2ncia n\u00e3o depende apenas do seu conte\u00fado. <span class=\"s2\">Depende de <\/span><b>como \u00e9 introduzido no mercado<\/b><span class=\"s2\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>A fragr\u00e2ncia n\u00e3o \u00e9 o produto<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">Este \u00e9 o ponto central. Uma fragr\u00e2ncia \u00e9 um componente do produto. N\u00e3o \u00e9 o produto.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">O produto \u00e9 uma combina\u00e7\u00e3o de:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- posicionamento<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- Pre\u00e7o<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">\u2013 embalagem<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">\u2013 distribui\u00e7\u00e3o<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">comunica\u00e7\u00e3o<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- Tempo<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Quando estes elementos n\u00e3o s\u00e3o consistentes, at\u00e9 uma fragr\u00e2ncia \u201cna moda\u201d tem dificuldades. Quando estes elementos est\u00e3o alinhados, at\u00e9 uma fragr\u00e2ncia que n\u00e3o est\u00e1 na moda pode funcionar muito bem.<\/p>\n<h2><b>O papel do marketing no sucesso olfativo<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">Muitos projectos subestimam este aspeto. Pensam que a fragr\u00e2ncia tem de \u201cconvencer por si s\u00f3\u201d.<br \/>\nMas o cliente n\u00e3o chega ao produto pelo cheiro.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">A passar:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- Imagem<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- Hist\u00f3ria<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- Contexto<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- Perce\u00e7\u00e3o da marca<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">O marketing n\u00e3o \u00e9 um suporte para a fragr\u00e2ncia. \u00c9 o sistema que permite que a fragr\u00e2ncia seja compreendida. Sem este sistema, a fragr\u00e2ncia permanece isolada.<\/p>\n<h2><b>O contexto cria valor<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">A mesma fragr\u00e2ncia pode ter resultados completamente diferentes consoante a forma como \u00e9 apresentada.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Eles mudam:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- o nome<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- embalagem<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- o pre\u00e7o<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- o canal<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">E isso muda completamente a resposta do mercado. Isto porque o cliente n\u00e3o compra uma composi\u00e7\u00e3o olfactiva.<br \/>\nCompra uma promessa. E essa promessa \u00e9 constru\u00edda antes mesmo de a cheirar.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Tend\u00eancia vs. consist\u00eancia<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">Seguir uma tend\u00eancia pode ser uma escolha inteligente. Mas apenas se for coerente com o projeto.<br \/>\nUm erro frequente consiste em utilizar uma tend\u00eancia para \u201caumentar a probabilidade de vendas\u201d, sem verificar se \u00e9 coerente com a mesma:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- a marca<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- o objetivo<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- o pre\u00e7o<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- o canal<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Quando esta consist\u00eancia n\u00e3o existe, o produto entra em concorr\u00eancia direta com muitos outros produtos semelhantes, sem ter uma verdadeira raz\u00e3o para ser escolhido.<\/p>\n<h2><b>O verdadeiro trabalho: traduzir uma tend\u00eancia num projeto<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">O valor n\u00e3o est\u00e1 em conhecer as tend\u00eancias. Est\u00e1 em conhec\u00ea-las <span class=\"s3\"><b>interpretar<\/b><\/span>. Interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o significa:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- adapta\u00e7\u00e3o da dire\u00e7\u00e3o olfactiva ao posicionamento<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- construir uma linguagem coerente<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- definir o n\u00edvel correto de intensidade e de reconhecimento<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- associar a fragr\u00e2ncia \u00e0 experi\u00eancia global<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- ma tend\u00eancia n\u00e3o \u00e9 uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o. \u00c9 uma mat\u00e9ria-prima.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Quando o projeto funciona<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">Os projectos que funcionam t\u00eam uma carater\u00edstica comum: a fragr\u00e2ncia parece inevit\u00e1vel.<br \/>\nN\u00e3o por ser \u201co melhor\u201d. Mas porque \u00e9 perfeitamente coerente com tudo o resto.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Nestes casos:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- o cliente compreende imediatamente o produto<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- o pre\u00e7o \u00e9 considerado justo<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 clara<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- a experi\u00eancia \u00e9 fluida<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">E a fragr\u00e2ncia torna-se parte de um sistema.<\/p>\n<h2><b>A pergunta certa<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">A pergunta inicial: \u201cQuais as fragr\u00e2ncias que vendem mais?\u201d deve passar a ser:<br \/>\n<b>\u201cQue tipo de projeto estamos a construir e que fragr\u00e2ncia o torna coerente?\u201d<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">\u00c9 uma diferen\u00e7a subtil. Mas altera completamente o resultado.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Conclus\u00e3o<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">No mercado atual, as tend\u00eancias est\u00e3o cada vez mais acess\u00edveis. A informa\u00e7\u00e3o circula rapidamente.<br \/>\nAs direc\u00e7\u00f5es olfactivas espalham-se rapidamente. Este facto reduz a vantagem competitiva de \u201cdescobrir\u201d a fragr\u00e2ncia certa. A verdadeira vantagem passa a ser outra.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Na capacidade de construir:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- um sistema coerente<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- posicionamento claro<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">- comunica\u00e7\u00e3o efectiva<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">A fragr\u00e2ncia continua a ser fundamental.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Mas, por si s\u00f3, n\u00e3o \u00e9 suficiente.
